Since its first edition in 2011, Green Week has grown as an event of absolute importance to learn and reflect on economic development related themes.
During the first three days, from February 25th to 27th, some company visits will be organized, the “Sustainability Factories” tour. This tour will be Dani’s opportunity to open the doors to a group of researchers and students, and describe the actions that have been put in place to bring the company’s production needs closer to more environmental friendly business.
How do you recognize the “Factories of Sustainability”?
The Factories of Sustainability believe in the circular economy, they are committed to optimizing resources, recycling and reducing emissions.
At the same time, there’s a focus on social responsibility, considering the company as a factor of cohesion and personal development, as well as an opportunity to develop people’s skills.
Dani’s speeches during the festival
In the second part of the program, from February 26th and throughout the weekend, Trento will host the festival with many international guests.
As Dani, we will participate in 2 boards:
Guido Zilli, sustainability manager, will be present in a round table entitled “From waste to resource: tanning industry, an example of circular economy” during Friday 28th February
The next day Giancarlo Dani, Dani CEO, will bring his experience in the discussion on “Leather, eco-leather, plastic: old and new myths to dispel”.
This will be an opportunity to tell and reflect on how today’s reality is evolving, with the need to think about development in relation to the resources that are used and the impacts that are produced.
