DANI achieves excellence in the SAQ standard.

The SAQ - Sustainability Assessment Questionnaire is the standard applicable to all suppliers in the automotive supply chain, to which DANI has adhered, measuring its performance.

The SAQ is aligned with the global guiding principles for sustainability in the automotive sector and focuses on: improving sustainability performance in the raw materials supply chain, policies and practices in the areas of human rights and environmental sustainability, health and safety, business ethics, and responsible supplier management.

The rating achieved by DANI is B89.

The first element, B, represents the minimum sustainability rating, i.e. how well the company meets the sustainability requirements of the sector.
The second element, 89, represents the sustainability score, i.e. the % of all averaged scores of all SAQ questions.
These two elements together represent the SAQ 5.0 rating.

The rating also provides a comparison of performance compared to industry and country averages, in which the company is located. Compared to the industry average (tanneries worldwide), which shows a rating of 67, DANI 22 points higher, but the result is even more important when compared to the average of Italian companies in a wide range of sectors related to the automotive value chain, which, at 53, shows that DANI's commitment and sustainability practices are concrete and the real driving force behind the business.
The tool is currently used by Drive Sustainability partners such as BMW Group, Daimler Truck, Ford, Honda, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Toyota, Volkswagen Group, Volvo Cars and Volvo Group.

"We are satisfied with the outcome of the SAQ 5.0, we will continue to work tirelessly to achieve even higher goals in the area of sustainability and corporate responsibility. corporate responsibility. Our commitment to sustainability constantly evolves, evidenced by our will to promote positive change through concrete actions and values." These are the words of Andrea Sapri, Head of Sustainability.
